FISA

I'm not sure how many people I'm going to get that haven't already seen it in [info]fizzgig_bites' journal, or elsewhere, but it's kinda important, so I'm posting it anyway...

The ACLU is sponsoring an ad in the New York Times in order to illustrate public outrage over the Constitutional violations in the FISA Bill. If you want to add your name, click here.

add your signature letting Congress know exactly how you feel about them selling out your right to privacy. Add your name to the ACLU’s newspaper ad.

so, what they are saying, basically, is that if you want to keep your privacy, print your name in a large, national newspaper. oh, and give us all the info we need to hit you up for cash while you are at it.

Actually, there is a check box to not be spammed but I'm sure they will anyway. I figure my name will be buried along with at least 100,000 other people. I'm also sure the FBI/NSA/CIA/DHS has a file on me anyway.
